With the help of Plant-for-the-Planet, DMV is helping to make the world greener!
In 2012, Lars Diedrichs met Felix Finkbeiner at the annual MMM Congress in Munich, and since then DMV Diedrichs Markenvertrieb has also been a supporter of this worldwide movement.
To date, thanks to the dedication of many people, more than 13.5 billion trees have been planted and reported to the tree counter. On the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico, Plant-for-the-Planet plants a new tree on average every 15 seconds. The planting project demonstrates how easy it is to plant trees efficiently on a large scale. Through its own products and campaigns, the initiative plants trees itself and motivates others to join in. In academies, which are also offered online, children train each other to become ambassadors for climate justice – 91,666 children and young people from 75 countries participated in 1,608 academies by December 31, 2020!
The goal of this children's and youth initiative is to plant 1 trillion trees worldwide. As supporters, we are naturally very motivated and are starting our tree planting with the Trillion Tree Campaign in Yucatán, Mexico. This year we've already planted 7,500 trees!
